skiers The skiing conditions in BANSKO are excellent. The Pirin Mountain has a predominantly Alpine character with three peaks towering above 2900 m. However, the slopes offer runs and tracks for all types of skiers, from the novice to the expert.
GUARANTEED SNOW AND BEAUTIFUL WEATHER
Surrounded by the Pirin, Rila and Rhodopes mountains, Bansko is a climatic mountain resort with a short summer and long winter. The average temperature during January, the coldest month, is minus 1,9 C. Snow falls are abundant, providing a constant winter snow cover up to 2 m thick. The skiing season along the Pirin slopes starts in the middle of December and ends in mid-April.
VARIED SKIING
The resort offers good opportunities for all types of skiers - from the novice to the expert, while the ski runs are maintained in an excellent condition.
LEARN TO SKI
The BANSKO ski school is a very good one. Skiing classes come in 5 difficulty levels, from A to E - in groups or individually - of varying duration. The tuition in cross - country skiing is in 2 classes of difficulty. All course graduates receive skiing-certificates.
SKI RENTALS
Ski rental services providing ski equipment from world-famous brands are at the disposal of the skiers, along the ski runs. Skiers can also leave their own equipment for safe-keeping there.
SKI PACKAGE
The Ski Package Offer covers skiing school classes, unlimited lift usage, ski and booth hire or storage of own ski equipment as well as bus transport to the ski runs.
24 HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE
The round-the-clock Emergency Rescue Service is based in the town of Bansko and in the region of Shiligarnika in Pirin Mountain and is fully equipped with all the necessary equipment.
CHILD CARE
